Since 2006, The Foundation of Coaching has been a global leader in coaching-related research. Offering $100,000 annually in grant awards, the TFC has funded the beginning structure of an essential body of coaching research necessary to advance and support the field of professional coaching. The innovative Coaching Research Repository has offered free access to research abstracts and full academic studies at The Foundation of Coaching website. In 2009, the Foundation of Coaching work is transitioning to the next level by serving as the cornerstone for the new Institute of Coaching at Harvard Medical School/McLean Hospital.
