Co-authored by basketball coach Kenneth Griffin and William Burgin, Life Coach – A Guide for Winning Basketball and Successful Living is one of the earliest Christian coaching books published.

The coaching style presented here was honed over 38 years into a philosophy of how to win at the game of life.

Beginning with a review of the fundamentals to be winning athlete, this less than 100 page book is based on the premise that faith-based simple prayer for guidance will lead one along the correct paths in life. Filled with Bible quotes and examples, this book will appeal to Christians everywhere.

How has your faith, Christian or not, supported you in winning (or coaching) the game of life?

About the Author

Dr. Vikki Brock, MCC, is Team Lead for the one-of-a-kind Virtual Museum of Coaching here at The Coaching Commons. Based on interviews about the evolution of coaching with over 175 coaching 'influencers' she also contributes mightily to our Coaching Hall of Fame. Though some may consider 'The History of Coaching' a dry topic, Vikki believes 'the roots determine the fruits' and promises the museum won't be a stuffy place. Vikki is also the only executive and leadership coach we know who supports clients from a 50 foot sailboat named Cuidado, moored in Ventura, California next to the Channel Islands National Park.
