It’s easy, seriously.
Here’s a simple link where you can set up a personal globally recognized avatar so that your photo will show up when you comment. (Scroll down and see “Recent Comments” on the right hand sidebar – your photo of choice will show up instead of the gray silhouette graphic.)

This will work for other WordPress-based blogs you post comments on as well, depending on their settings.
