Patrick brings up a great point and LifeOptions has gone to great lengths to address this issue specifically. It would be harmful to the coach industry and to LifeOptions to allow unqualified coaches to use the platform for coaching. That is why LifeOptions joined with Dr. Pat Williams and the ILCT, to ensure that all of LifeOptions' coaches are well trained. In addition, coaches will have to provide proof of coach training in order to get a practitioner license for the platform. LifeOptions has set out to preserve and enhance the coach industry by creating high standards for using the web-enabled capabilities. In addition to verification of coaching credentials, all coaches who join the LifeCoach network will also be provided training in online ethics and training in the use of our secure platform along with ongoing support. Those interested in the network can send an email to jay.ostrowski@lifeoptions.com.

An online life coaching service is one of the many great ideas I have heard flying around lately. But it opens things up for fake life coaches who may do more bad then good.

Congratulations! This is great news for coaches. Even with the marketing being done, the golden egg you mention, the coaches will likely need to sell themselves! Sounds like a boom for ICF too.
