What’s the most important step that coaching can take to advance the profession worldwide? Why are coaches in Australia getting out of coaching? And why would anyone criticize Noel Posus for calling himself a “Master Coach?”

Posus, recently named Coach of the Year by the Australian New Zealand Coaching Institute, has been a coach for two decades, and spoke with the Coaching Commons on a wide range of issues facing coaching, including the debate over the ICF’s proposed changes in certification and the need to address what Posus believes are widespread misperceptions about coaching among the public at large.

Mark:

Thank you for such a wonderful conversation and being willing to stay up late in NY to catch me in my early morning in Sydney. I thoroughly enjoyed your questions, style, and the way you engage with people. Truly warming and connected!

And I trust that this interview will be of benefit in various ways to our fellow coaches and I look forward to any comments, questions and anything completely new and unexpected that might come from it.

Thanks again for everything you’re contributing to this wonderful industry!

Cheers, Noel
