Here is what I did last week for International Coaching Week:
1. Presented at the Puget Sound Coaches Association conference

2. Committed myself to stand powerfully in my coaching and the gifts that I provide for my current and future clients

3. Committed to continue my radio program, Playing Huge Radio, with this focus: Intention is essential, but not sufficient. Playing Huge is where your intention becomes your reality.

Here is what I did not do to the level I want to last week, but because of the importance of coaching, intend to do every week moving forward.

1. Employ the 3 foot rule - that anyone within 3 feet of me might just be that person who most needs to hear my message at that moment. In other words, I will be bold, courageous, and outspoken about coaching and the work I do that makes a difference all the time and everywhere.

2. I will consistently share the power of coaching with my audiences - on the radio, at conferences, and at networking events.

3. I will be a voice of change when interviewed on the news and on radio programs; and will represent coaching well when written material is published.

4. Be the change. There is no message more powerful than being part of the solution and enjoying my life.

Thank you for asking. And thank you to those of you who have made the path of coaching and making a difference in people's lives in this way possible for us!

My gift is a recent interview for coaches on how to speak in public to grow their business. I specialize in helping coaches be authentic, present, comfortable and effective speakers. I hope you enjoy this interview loaded with information.

Best,

This is the 10th anniversary of Jerri's brilliant idea to create Int'l Coaching Week, and also happens to be the 10th anniversary of my book and coaching program Get Clients Now!, so I decided to celebrate both at once with a special event on Feb. 10. I'll be hosting a free teleforum for anyone who has ever used the Get Clients Now! system and sends me their success story.

Thanks, Jerri, for being such a pioneer, and thanks, Ruth Ann, for sponsoring this contest!

What will YOU do promote and celebrate the value of coaching world-wide?

The pressure to come up with a big world-wide coaching idea is overwhelming, so I focused on one small step in my local community.

I offered to coach one person, for free, who I thought would enjoy and benefit from the process. This person is kind and thoughtful and giving and I wanted to give them something in return - a hand of coaching support for the month of February.

I think one of the best advocates for coaching, and the way to make that a world wide chorus, will be from people who have experienced coaching and have grown and succeeded as a result.

Their praise will do much to raise awareness. The WOW factor -> Word Of Wonder -> as we promote and celebrate the client - they in turn will promote and celebrate the wonder of coaching.

To continue with this trend, I will continue to coach at least one person for free throughout my career as a coach.

Hello. Next week (February 1-7) is International Coaching Week, an event I created in 1999 to celebrate and promote the field of Personal and Business Coaching. In the last ten years Coaching Week has taken off, with celebrations world-wide (such as free coaching workshops, pro bono coaching for teens, mayoral proclamations, etc.).

To celebrate Coaching Week XI, I am offering Laser Business/Personal Coaching Sessions by telephone (at no charge) on Friday, February 6 from 2 to 4 PM (EST). These are short, 20 minute sessions to help you move forward quickly in any area in which you may be stuck or need additional brainstorming, consulting or support.

To register, call (505) 988-5533 or call in on Friday, February 6 from 2 to 4 PM for an on-the-spot coaching session. If the line is busy, please leave a message.
Please forward this offer to anyone you think might be interested in coaching: clients, colleagues, friends.
HAPPY COACHING WEEK!

Warmly, Jerri Udelson, MCC
