Your career runs 30, 40, 50 years or more. So, when you are unhappy at work, it carries over into your entire life.

And, that’s if you have a job. Many people today would be thrilled to have a job they don’t enjoy. The workplace is scary and coaches are needed more than ever to help people through it all.

As a coach, the best thing you can do for your clients is listen. Your clients are stressed and worried about their future.

Next, help your clients sort through the mess in their minds. They have so many ideas or none at all. But at the root of it, fear is keeping them from thinking straight.

Lastly, help your client plan. This is what coaches do best. A plan brings peace and direction. When you know where you are going, the future doesn’t seem as frightening anymore.

What are some ways you are helping your clients?
