Would like to attend but the time doesn’t really work for any of us east of about Delhi – e.g. Hong Kong, Sydney.

So here is a share. I heard Thomas talking about sharing what is there and how that need only be an inkling. Actually he seemed quite keen on sharing inklings and described an inkling as like a feeling you get in your little toe.

Others might call it intuition. I like “inkling”. In coaching sessions I try to stay attuned to my little toe.

Hey Kathryn – I wish I could have been there! I remember the beautiful memorial you organized after Thomas passed away in 2003 at Marble Collegiate Church in Manhattan.

Here’s something that I remember of Thomas: Add value just for the joy of it! I try to use this one as much as possible.

I’m sorry to have missed the party – it would have been great to hear some old familiar voices from the Coachville early days. By any chance is there a recording available?

Hey Des, Julia and Barbra:

Thanks so much for your posts.

Des, That’s a great way to remember inklings — pay attention to my little toe. I’m also more and more getting images while a client is talking, and I always share it with them. Even if it is little to me, it is usually a big thing for the client. Sort of the graphic version of “what I want for you…”

Julia, yes, I love the notion of adding value just for the joy of it: not as a marketing ploy or to make your coaching more “valuable,” but just because it’s joyful, which is way beyond fun.

Barbara, I think I can download the recording in mp3. I will ask Susan to help me on that, and I’ll post here when it’s available.

We’re showing up again on August 31. It’s a Tuesday, same time 12 noon Eastern (sorry Des) and we’ll start by discussing the principle: “The Present is Perfect.” Come if you can and invite everyone who would like to kick around different views.

love, shirley anderson
