Hi Marsha,

Hooray for supporting for the many wonderful people in the nonprofit world! These helping professionals do significant work that is woven into our daily lives. Too often their work is viewed as mundane and the brilliant, dedicated people who signed up for it are taken for granted. They slip into a long, deep trench that goes from mild fatigue to burnout.

I'm with you 1000% on coaching at all levels in public benefit organizations!

And, with a broad brush, I assert that coaching could be the imperative - the next mandate perhaps - for individually and collectively supporting students, teachers, staff and administrators in public education. Coaching just may be the most respectful and acknowledging breath of fresh air that can revive public education. What else will keep our teachers inspired enough to stay in the profession? What will keep our students engaged in learning?
