“Most of the jobs right now, I’d say 90 percent, are being filled through word of mouth and networking, just because I think companies are afraid to post openings right now because they’re getting inundated with resumes,” Greg McLogan said.

  1. Yup, the most effective way of job-hunting is through networking. In fact, some people are even utilizing social networking sites (although they take great care of cleaning up their online profiles first).
