ome with an idea and leave with a business plan – that’s the objective of a free business boot camp for young entrepreneurs in Abbotsford this weekend.
The three-day course is a chance for young adults aged 18 to 34 to get the information and confidence they need to start a business and keep it going.
After speaking with friends about her idea, a number of local business owners jumped on board, including Chad Gibson, a private consultant and business coach; Simon Levin, a partner in Motus Design and Development, which creates sportswear; Mark Holland, a chartered accountant; and Tana Plewes, the CEO and founder of the Discovery Centre for Entrepreneurship, a community partner to the Canadian Youth Business Foundation.
