It wasn’t enough that we had wedding consultants, college admissions counselors and life coaches. Then came the elopement consultants, preschool admissions counselors and birth coaches. Now, there are pre-baby planners. For a few hundred or thousand dollars, these prenatal consultants will help pregnant women pick out wardrobes, choose cribs and get those baby showers rolling. There’s even an international National Baby Planners Association that “supports professional consultants in the baby planning industry by having set the standards for baby planners globally.”
