The Korea Herald and the Korea Coaching Center is offering three readers of The Korea Herald a chance to undertake coaching sessions worth 10 million won free of charge.
One-on-one coaching provided by expert staff at the Korea Coaching Center is designed to help foreign executives working in Korea overcome issues that may arise from cultural differences, and allow the individuals to identify and assess problems in detail.
According to research, 61 percent of expats in Korea find living in the country difficult, while only 26 percent find the process easy. Among those who find living in Korea difficult, more than 80 percent pointed to cultural differences including language and discrimination against foreigners, while 22 percent felt Korean society was too closed.
Such issues can also affect the work life of expats who are businesses leaders. According to a recent report, foreign executives find Koreans hard-working and loyal. However, they find Korean corporate culture to be hierarchical, illogical and inefficient.
Coaching sessions will deal with issues concerning organization leaders in detail and help establish the foundations for building trust.
Coaches will also help the trainee in maximizing their potential and facilitate self-improvement. Read More.
