The executive coaching industry has come of age and generated even more questions. In Brian’s introductory session, he introduced the platform with these first three questions:
How do organizations and coaches make the most of this powerful method?
What is the purpose of coaching?
Who should get coaching?
It’s now time to delve deeply and provocatively into the next questions:
How can you tell coaches apart? What is the impact of coaching? How do coaches, leaders, organizations and the boss assess the impact of coaching?

Learn from and with Brian Underhill, author of Executive Coaching for Results: The Definitive Guide to Developing Organizational Leaders (Berrett-Koehler 2007). Brian draws upon his and his colleagues’ vast experience, best practice knowledge and original rigorous research of the practice of executive coaching in the world’s top organizations.
This inspiring and engaging session is strongly recommended for executive/leadership development, human resources and executive coaches alike. It is a must for anyone responsible for executive coaching in his or her organization.

***** How are coaching results measured? On March 23rd we’ll dive into this question! Be pondering the ways you and your clients quantify and qualify your coaching results. Come back to the Coaching Commons then for a robust, interactive discussion. *****

Great conversation today. I’m not a fan of 360 tools, but Brian helped me see a huge benefit to using mini-surveys customized to the client. Quick, easy, and potentially huge impact.

Thanks for the sharing, Brian!

Hi Brian and coaching colleagues,

I’m smiling from ear to ear — I experienced your world of coaching more deeply during today’s call! I realize how little I ‘know’ about solid metrics and where my hunches were ‘off or on’. You have eased my anxiety. Clearly, this helps me on my path to de-mystify coaching research and speak with re-newed confidence about coaching in general. Personally and professionally, this is both enriching and capacity building.

Thank you for the richness of your research and coaching experience. Thank you for the lovely way you engaged with an eager audience of amazing coaches, each with unique experience and passion for coaching!

Thank you coaching colleagues for energetically participating in our conversation and this exploration of coaching impact. I am so grateful for your generosity, your visibility, for all you bring to life and our coaching profession!

With good cheer,
Elizabeth
