February 15, 2010 – USA Today – Arlington, VA, US

Cheri Oteri, who often played wacky, self-absorbed characters for on Saturday Night Live, returns to form tonight in Life Coach on AMC.

Oteri’s Liza the life coach character (“Saving the world, one person at a time”) will appear in short episodes during the cable channel’s Monday prime-time movie breaks, as well as on websites Amctv.com and Lizalifecoach.com.

Those in “need” of Liza’s therapeutic advice include Lewis Black, Kathleen Madigan and Mark Linn Baker. Fans can submit their own videotaped “issues” to the websites for Liza’s feedback.

Oteri, 47, says she was intrigued with the comic prospects of portraying a life coach who may be in need of as much therapy as her faux patients. So she became a certified life coach herself.
