I read the title and immediately said to myself “OF COURSE THERE’S A PLACE FOR COACHING” within politics!
As a tool for communication and discernment, how could there ever be a place where coaching doesn’t work?
- When the coach thinks they have all the answers! (sly grin here)!
Not sure if I will make the call, just had to share a quick thought.
Hi James,
Please do come to the call and help us get real with coaching’s role in the new direction for political dialogue and action!
In this forum, coaches can take the opportunity to dig deeply, look at coachings role in the political mix (if not the political pollution), to excavate the bigger conversations and forge new directions in civic engagement and personal leadership…..
Where are those political leaders you want to talk with? What are your burning questions for local, regional, national leaders?
Elizabeth
Thank you Donna! What an inspiring and intriguing conversation today!
I assert there is absolutely a place for coaching both active and emerging political leaders. And, I’m looking forward to reading your thoughts and clear vision for how we can do that from the ground up.
Let’s build a list together of all the access points for coaching our public leaders in education, health policy, local government agencies such as city planning, parks and recreation in cities, counties, etc.
Coaches…please listen to this Uncommon Conversation. Let Donna and us all know your burning questions about leadership coaching in this arena.
Elizabeth
This conversation was ground-breaking for me. For coaches who were unable to join this call, I urge you to listen to Donna talk about the importance of leadership coaching, support and skills training in the political arena. Donna, thank you for shining light on this new(to me)and vital area of coaching.
